Paris fashion week, oct 5 – 2011. 9.57 am at Louis Vuitton.
As usual, lots of street style photographers are present to stop women and take them in picture. It starts with a large shot, followed by many close shots of their accessories, shoes… and finally photographers ask for brands. I hate that kind of street style photography. Life is as beautiful as you want to see and make it beautiful. Life is a painting and people its colors. As a humanist street style photographer, I do my best to create the most beautiful painting. Fashion magazines buy street style pictures not paintings. I know that and I don’t care. Cause I created Style and the City to offer great memories, not a collection of bags, shoes, accessories…. A photograph as I see it is a gift you make to thank the person. It’s about giving back. It’s about embracing art and becoming a better photographer.
And becoming a better photographer starts by watching life with your heart and not your greed. It’s about understanding what makes people NATURALY beautiful, charming, glamour, sexy. It’s about realizing that a story creates more emotions than the list of the brands of her outfit. When you see life like that, you’ll discover grace. And the more you see grace, the more in love you fall with Life and people who make it that beautiful. And the good part of it is that you’ll learn how to capture this grace. We can’t see the bag ? So what ! LOL.
