Hi everybody. I hope you are well. Sorry for the late and the miss of recent “Daily Dose of Happiness” : I was just vey busy. As I was diving into my archives from this last Paris fashion week haute couture, I stumbled into nice moments. Some were moments that filled my heart with happiness, some were moments that saddened me. I am always sad when I see a young model chassed by street style photographers. Over the years, street style photography has became a huge urban safari where stylish women and especially models are literrally hunted. I can’t be part of that. After almost 6 years attending fashion weeks, I can say : too much is too much now.
That’s why I always flee photographers and ask them to not follow me. I had so many arguments against photographers that can’t create their own seetings and can’t help themselves to follow me… Humanist photography starts with respecting people : if they don’t want to be bother, let them alone. If you can’t take a great picture or a picture that honours them : don’t take it ! POINT. Exploding amounts of photographers + greed attitude = all sweet moments of life are destroyed in the name of fucking boring unartistic pictures of clothes sold to magazines, websites… for few bucks. Human being has a great talent to destroy life and beauty. As a consequence, this year will be my last year attenting fashion weeks. It’s time for me to elevate Style and the City into the next step of its life. And you gonna love it because as usual, I will offer you a unique adventure. Women and life are too beautiful : they deserve a better case than boring street style photography.

I love Erica Pelosini. She is so fun, kind and of course stylish. Because of her great and delightful personality, I always try to capture moments of life. She is so energetic that I know something will happen. And if she is surrounded by photographers, what can I do ? I quickly try to set up a situation that will reveal her sexiness. LOL. I never considered women throught their clothes and style first. I need to feel a great personality or a kind of inner beauty, a beautiful soul. Only then, I decide to take pictures and how to create a sweet story. It was very hard for me to take natural pictures at CHANEL because of the insane amount of photographers. But thank’s to Erica and other women, my morning was brighter.
I will not attend Fashion weeks all my life : I’ve learnt all what I needed to learn about humanist photography and respect. It would be very easy for me to take much more pictures if I start to behave greedly. But It’s like being Lance Amstrong : wining the Tour de France doped. There is no honour.
We are all gonna die. All what we’ll left behind us is our achievements. Selling a picture to bunch of magazines has never been a great achievement for me. But helping women to feel self confident, helping young photographers to understand that respect, love and creativity are the first and main quality of the greatest photographers, than taking risks to achieve you dreams will be the most exciting moments of your life : YES, it’s worths living and fighting for these causes. Life is not about being the richest person of the cimetery but about leaving this world the heart full of beautiful emotions. Thank you Erica Pelosini for being so cool, for humanizing fashion with me. See you soon.
