The girl of the first photo also happens to be my top favourite model and she has remained in that position for the past 4 years. Her name is Taryn Davidson and she is one of the most beautiful, kind and radiant girls out there. Her gorgeous smile can light up the whole room. I simply love that girl because despite her great success in the fashion industry she always remained down to earth and very modest, too. Also, I must add that before she became a model she was a great hockey athlete. Her father is her team’s coach and he also coaches the Canadian Olympic team. Being skinny is natural for her. She was this skinny her entire life not because she deliberately pursued it ,but because it’s in her genes that she inherited from her parents, especially her father. Therefore, reading a couple of the comments on here disturbed me a lot. Before you people go on saying that a very thin girl is anorexic you must also know this girl. It’s a great sign of ignorance and stupidity making the terms « skinny » and « anorexic » equivalent. Skinny could be anyone. Any girl in this world may be born skinny, just like every girl may be born curvy. It’s a genetics matter. However, anorexia is an extremely serious and dangerous mental disease and the skinny body is -only a consequence- of anorexia. Thus, going around and labeling skinny girls as « anorexics » without having a clue about the girls’ lives, but just because they happen to be skinny is extremely rude. And I’m not saying this just for Taryn, but for every skinny girl out there. Also, Taryn may be skinny, but she’s also very healthy, too. You can see it in her smile, her happiness, her skin, her body. She has no bones protruding, only very slim muscles.

Now, to close this I think it’d be wise to never put labels on people cause you never know what these people may be going through. Even if a girl IS anorexic calling her that is still rude and it’s even more rude when she’s naturally skinny. It’s the same thing as saying to an obese person of how fat they are, but who knows? They might be suffering from a disease, too like thyroid. The conclusion: never judge another person on their physical appearance. It’s just plain rude and demeaning for them and it makes you look stupid.

la première photo me fait mal…. on dirait qu’elle va se briser la pauvre. Surtt elle me rappel MOI, ya 5 ans…. heureusement j’ai pris un peu de poids. Je comprend mieux les autres lorsqu’ils me disaient…. t’es tropppp maigre.

Me promenant tranquilement sur ton blog – que je trouve super !… en passant – j’ai vu la première photo du mannequin apparemment anorexique, j’ai tout de suite cliqué sur » lire la suite » pour voir si tu allais faire comme commentaire » quelle beauté ! » ou plutot » quelle maigreur ! » et j’avoue avoir été contente de voir qu’ici, ce ne sont pas les plus maigres qui sont les plus belles ! Bravo ! Parceque je commence à devenir jalouse de ces filles maigres comme tout … Bref, ça devient grave.
