I created Style and the City to honour real life, real women. I created SATC to show you women « next door »‘s beauty, to proove you that the great secret of beauty is more than ever generosity and happiness. I didn’t take in picture Laura Blokhina because she is a model, but because I could feel that she was first of all a generous and happy woman. And my purpose is to show you that when a woman is obviously beautiful, she has 2 choices in her life : be an asshole or thanks God for her natural beauty by being kind, generous and sweet with people. When I saw all the photographers surrounding Laura just after her show to take a picture of her style, I immediately didn’t want to be part of that but wanted to make her smiling and having a funny moment with me, to make her forgeting that photographic aggression. And when I told her to show me the real women inside her, to forget the runways and feel free for me, Style and the City, its readers, she ran toward me and jump !
Model Laura Blokhina brightened my day. And the good new is that other models did it as well. Pictures coming monday. « But Kamel, you talk about a beautiful gorgeous model, where are the women of our real world ??? » Keep cool Calamity Jane, you missed the point Darling. Do you think that I borrowed 1500 € to my brother to cover the New York fashion week for its readers to forget my values as soon as my plane land to New York ? Do you think that I quited my well paid jobs in TV and press to come back to their superficiality ? Do you think that I can betray all the values I’ve been standing for 18 months ? now (finally) about the pics – women are amazing, NYC also but i am glad you’re going back to paris. i enjoyed NY Fashion Week but i like spontanious women from paris morethan those who were quite sure they’ll be photographed (if you understand what i mean…). Nevertheless, fantastic job – now rest because you deserved it! and in the nearest future, i am waiting for parisian women because i haven’t seen them for a while

I am back to Paris and It’s like before : I am struggling between launching my website, earn some money to pay my rent, take some pictures, see friends and have some rest.
But I am revigorate now, New York fashion week was very great for me, and watching the sunset from the roof of the Empire state building was a great souvenir.

Dear Kamel, as usual I enjoy watching your photos! I watch it every time when I’m not busy and receive a bulk of positive emotions! I was a very tired because of enormous number of exams, so I hadn’t left comments here for a long time, but I was following all your adventures;) Congrats with a new camera, you deserve it! My dad is professional photographer but he hasn’t worked as photographer for a long time, now he bought new professional camera and decided to comeback to his main passion, I hope he will teach me too!;)

Je constate tjrs que tu es o top en ce qui concerne les photos et tes documentaires décidement tu ne làche rien c çà t ds le vrai. Je t dis ça car j’y connaisais rien au monde la mode et ne voulais rien savoir pour cause un monde virtuel bref… Ton travaille si j’ai compris est de rendre bo les gens et rare sont ceux qui arrive car trop bizness, toi a travers tous cela il y a une àme c’est ca d’etre un artiste…
