Few weeks ago, VOGUE USA contacted me for a project with a famous cosmectic brand. After some emails exchanges, I received yesterday an encouraging answer :

I did receive the links and they are wonderful. Some of the elements of the project have changed and I’m not sure we’re going to include Paris as one of the markets for this program. I will certainly keep all of the images/samples you have sent on hand, as well as your contact info, and reach out for future projects.

I am glad that VOGUE USA is aware of my humanist street style and fashion weeks pictures and stories on Style and the City. And I am even more happy that they like it quite well and I’ll be happy to collaborate with VOGUE USA.
I received many proposals from big women’s magazines and websites to work for them. I’ve always refused. WHY ?
Because women will never be a coat rack for me but a human being first. Because my humanist values and my artistic standards are higher than in 99% of women’s magazines. If a fashion magazine wants to hire me : they must respect my values, artistic needs and PAY me decently, not like an interne or slave. « MSN women » in Paris understood that. And Now VOGUE USA. Visiting Style and the City, they understood that a smile makes women so naturally beautiful.
A smile costs nothing but gives so much to the person you offer it.
A smile is a sign of generosity, especially if the giver is training herself to qualifiy for the Olympics Games.
A smile of Grace Coddington makes your day.
But don’t abuse of her generosity, ok ! She has work to do and Anna won’t accept any delay, lol.
To celebrate the fact that our humanist values are more and more appreciated by famous magazines like VOGUE USA, I will offer you tomorrow a great collection of smiles, souvenirs from my former Paris Fashion Weeks. It will be a way as weel to thanks all these women who always offer me theyr beautiful smile, th ebest gift to encourage me to keep on working hard to humanise fashion and show to the world the natural beauty of real women. Pour avoir essayé de prendre des femmes dans la rue (sans me cacher, je suis pas un paparazzi), je me rend bien compte de la difficulté d’attirer l’attention, la bonne humeur et de capturer tout ça par une photo qui reste correcte techniquement !
Perso, j’obtiens un sourire, mais souvent c’est moi qui fond et qui se dégonfle… lol !
La jolie rousse qui descend dans le metro ressemble un peu a la chanteuse Axelle Red !
Sinon, désolée mais j’interpréterai plutôt le mail de Vogue US comme une réponse courtoise de refus de travailler avec vous. Du style on garde votre cv sous la main car il est parfait, mais vous n’etes pas retenu pour le poste. Relisez bien.
Ce qui est inquiétant c’est qu’ils gardent précieusement vos photos sous la main comme exemple et vous disent qu’ils n’ont pas retenu Paris, donc vous, pour leurs projets…
Quand on sait les moyens dont ils disposent pour organiser des séances photos avec des photographes professionnels et pouvoir reproduire tous styles d’images!

les photos que tu vois là sont le résultats de milliers de photos prises avant. C’est en forgeant qu’on devient forgeron.

On peut copier mes cadrages, mes mises en scène mais on ne pourra jamais copier mon talent car aucun photographe ne peu être dans ma tête.
Prendre le parti de me voler, c’est aussi se contenter du moins bien.
On verra bien s’ils engagent quelqu’un d’autre sur Paris. Si tu remarque quelque chose dans ce style, informes-moi en.
Je m’amuserai à faire un shooting dans Paris et à comparer leur photos aux miennes. LOL
