J’étais en train de vous préparer un bel article résumant ma fashion week parisienne, quand je suis tombé sur mes dernières photos d’Anna Dello Russo (VOGUE nippon), à l’entrée du défilé Louis Vuitton mercredi passé.  Cela m’a immédiatement donné une idée d’article à vous offrir avant le résumé (100 photos) de ma belle fashion week parisienne.

Anna Dello Russo has un « je ne sais quoi » of Jackie Kennedy : toujours entourée de son amie Carine Roitfeld ou au bras d’hommes élégants tel Mario Testino ou Georges Cortina, fashion director au Vogue Nippon. D’ailleurs, à chaque fois que je croise George Cortina, je le taquine en le surnommant « Georges Clooney » of fashion. A cause de son élégance et de son charme of course ! Et comme ça le fait sourire, je continue. What else ! (click Read the story)

Quand tu croises Anna Dello Russo, tu ne croises pas une simple femme élégante et stylée; non, tu croises une icône de le presse mode, voire de la mode tout court. Anna Dello Russo, ce n’est pas seulement une gigantesque garde-robe des plus grands couturiers, ce n’est pas seulement une collection de chaussures à vous damer… 

Ma 1ère rencontre avec Anna Dello Russo, ne fut pas directement avec elle, mais avec ses ambassadeurs de charme : ses sculpturales jambes hyper méga galbées. C’était en octobre 2007, ma 1ère fashion week, à l’entrée du défilé Louis Vuitton. Quand j’ai vu ses jambes hauts perchées sur des escarpins chic de chez chic, mon cerveau a immédiatement envoyé un message aux muscles : « hé les gars ! Faudrait vous remettre au sport fissa, arrêter de prendre l’asenceur ou que Kamel tu te mette sérieusement aux hauts talons ! »

Je me demande combien d’heures Anna Dello Russo doit passer dans la salle de sport. car avouez mesdames, qu’avoir un coprs comme le sien ne s’obtient pas en récitant 3 pater et 5 « avé Maria » tous les soirs avant de dormir.

Je me souviens que ce soir là, j’avais été tellement halluciné par ces jambes que je me suis mis à en chercher d’autres qui pouvaient rivaliser. Et je n’ai trouvé que celles de Taylor Thomasi Hill, du teen Vogue?

Jambes sculpturales et pieds toujours aussi élégamment habillés. Ps : comment appelez-vous ces chaussures mesdames : des escarpins ?

Robert Cleamolette : mais c’est qui cette Taylor Maserati Kamel ?

Kamel Lahmadi : Tomasi idiot !! Pas Maserati.

Robert Cleamolette : ho tu sais, sorti des boulons, de l’huile de vidange et de la téléréalité, je connais pas grand chose à ces gens.

J’ai terminé sur les rotules et m’endormant une nouvelle fois devant mon ordi. Quel bon sommeil j’ai eu. Le repos du guerrier certainement. Repos du guerrier car je n’ai jamais autant bataillé pour tenter de prendre de belles photos :

I finished on the kneecaps and fell asleep again in front of my computer. What a good sleep I had. The rest of the warrior certainly. Rest of the warrior because I never fought that much to take beautiful photos for my supportive readers, for Style and the City family :

trop de photographes irrespectueux, trop de « touristes » et de blogeurs qui parasitent votre champ de vision. Mais jamais je n’ai douté car ce qui me nourrit s’appelle la passion, le respect, l’amour du travail bien fait et le désir de se dépasser encore et encore.

Too many disrespectful photographers, too many « tourists » and bloggers who parasite your field of vision. But I never doubted of my mission because what nourishes me is called Passion, Respect, Love of work well done and the desire to improve my work  again and again.

Depuis le temps que je vous le dis, les femmes ne sont pas des portes-manteaux ou des porte-marques pour moi. Le style n’est que le vêtement de la personnalité. Photographier de belles personnalités, aller au delà du vêtement pour vous faire découvrir le secret de la beauté : voilà la mission de Style and the City.

If I tell you that Carine Roitfeld is considered as one of the most stylish women of women’s fashion magazines and in the world indeed, I tell you nothing new. You read it many times outside of this little blog (4 millions photos viewed per month ! )

Depuis le temps que je la croise durant les fashion week parisiennes et New Yorkaise, la 1ère chose que j’ai remarqué fut sa grande gentillesse et disponibilité envers les photographes professionnels, amateurs ou même simple fans. Ensuite son style bien sûr. Mais j’avais remarqué autre chose : par moment, une démarche qui me faisait penser aux ballerines d’opéra.

Le jour où j’ai remarqué cela, je me suis dit : « Ok ! Vas au delà du style, c’est fait et refait. Mets-la en valeur autrement. Ne l’arrête jamais, ne la harcèle pas de photos, mais sens le bon moment, car cela se passera en une fraction de seconde. Soit juste attentif et prêt au moment T « . Et ce moment est arrivé aujourd’hui, place de la concorde à 14h26.

Carine Roitfeld est la 1ère friandise de l’article du jour : « A toutes ces femmes qui ont ce petit truc de « je ne sais quoi ». Cette nuit, 20 photos pleine de style, de beauté naturelle, de glamour et de ce petit « je ne sais quoi ! » . Et si vous ne me croyais pas, vérifiez par vous-même ! Since our first meeting and confirmed on every following fashion weeks in Paris and New Yorker, the 1st thing I noticed was her kindness and availability to professional photographers, amateurs or even just fans. Then his style of course. But I had noticed something else : at times, a certain walk that made me think of the opera ballet.

The day I noticed that, I told to myself: « Ok! » Go beyond the style, done and redone. Put her in value differently. Never stop her, Do not  harass her with photos, but feel the right moment, cause it will happen in a split second. Be attentive and ready for the T  moment ». And that moment arrived today, Place de la Concorde, 2.26 pm, Paris time …

2 654 photos taken today from my Paris fashion week new day . Full of style, fashion, happiness, emotion and sun from Stella Mc Cartney to Vanessa Bruno and Kenzo !! Today I concentrated on a beautiful theme: happiness!

This night, I wanted to post 20 photos photo of my 6th and exciting day of Paris Fashion Week but I collapsed from fatigue at 3am. I wil compensate after the fashion week. 2 things to tell you about my day : 1- my sadness when I see how models, often tired or in hurry after they show (to go to their next show) are hunted by some greed and disrespecful photographers. My important message to these photographers : « Stop harassing models. STOP hunting them like animals !!! RESPECT them !!  »

I’m even more sad that if you respect models, they can give you so much from themselves. But all starts with REPECT !!

1 254 photos prises aujourd’hui dont au moins 50% dont je suis content. De RM par Roland Mouret, Issey Myake, Gaspard Yurkievich, Christian Dior, Isabel Marant, à Vivienne Westwood, Lanvin et maison Martin Margiela, je n’ai pas chômé. Et pourtant qu’est-ce que j’en bave avec tous ces photographes qui te parasitent tes photos. Mais du style, de la beauté, je vous ai promis, du style et de la beauté je vous offrirai juste après la fashion week. Vu que tout les blogs street style jusqu’aux plus célèbres se sont mis à copier le style « live » de Style and the City et même le « suivi de personne », je teste une nouvelle façon de photographier et de mettre en valeur la beauté  naturelle des femmes que mon ami le bon Dieu met sur mon chemin, telle la chicissime Miroslava Duma.

Mais il pourrait aussi mettre sur mon chemin un superbe appareil photo professionnel dont l’autofocus sélectionne et suis efficacement les personnes qui marchent vers moi. Des fois j’ai juste envie de sauter d’un pont de 1m20 quand je vois les photos que je rate : l’autofocus patine et le déclenchement de la photo ne se fait pas ou avec un léger flou.

Mais j’ai tellement honte et horreur de demander au personnes de poser, que je fais comme si la photo avait été prise. Je me dis que je la photographierai un autre jour, par surprise. Je fais confiance au destin. Et le destin me le rend bien je crois…

Mais est-ce que malgré ce soucis d’autofocus, je suis heureux ? Je ne suis pas heureux, je suis hyper heureux. Que je suis heureux des sourires que les personnes que j’aborde m’offrent. J’aimerai tellement que mon message « le secret de la beauté c’est le bonheur, le secret de la photogénie, la générosité », trouve écho à travers le monde. Je suis persuadé que si tout le monde offrait un sourire, c’est le niveau de bien-être de notre société qui s’élèverait. Tout simplement parce qu’un sourire est communicatif. les rires, je ne vous en parle même pas ! Si vous connaissez Oprah Winfrey, dîtes-lui que j’attends son invitation. Dîtes-lui que je suis un ami de Jared Leto et que je peux lui offrir un RDV en tête à tête !! A moins qu’elle ne préfère Adrian Grenier, de la série Entourage. Quel sourire ravageur ! Faut que je me refasse les dents ! haha
