Fashion weeks and especially New York fashion week has always been for me a great event to attend for the great photography lover that I am. New York fashion week is like a giant anthill except that ants are stylish and often beautiful women. Like Marina Larroude for instance.
We are at the exit of Rag and Bone fashion show. Street style photographers are stoping women and trying to take as much pictures as they can in the hope to sell them to magazines. It’s a way I didn’t choose. I prefer the path of humanist photography where beauty is found in the reality. That is more exciting for me, entertaining, and so rewarding as life always shows me how beautiful people are if you see them with your heart and not as coat racks. I learn so much about human beings and the art of photography that it feeds me until better days. But for sure, I will never lower my photography at the level of stopping women, taking close shot of her accessories and ask for their brands.
Life is beautiful, life is a painting and women its brighter colors. The interactions between people or between them and I are what make the moments unique. It’s now or never. Life is like a movie that you see and write in the same time with the complicity of people. I am glad that many of them understand what I do, what Style and the City is about. I have so many memories in my hard disks that I am dying to post on Style and the City.
And now, did Marina Larroude get her cab ? Just click and check it out! (Ps : and don’t tell again me that she has amazing legs, I already know that, lol)
