What you do defines you more than what you tell. It defines you even more that what you do is natural. In the metro, I always look if people will let passengers get out of the wagon first before they step in. What I often see saddens me unfortunately. I love people, sincerely. Because I want people to trust me, to like me at first sight, I put my mind in a position where I like people first and then try to figure out a way to proove myself that I was right to like them at first sight. How I do that ? I try to capture a moment, a reaction from them that will reveal how nice, cool they are. Style is just a layer in my photography but not the most important fortunately. What makes life great is not fashion but people. That’s why I always try to surprise them so that that they can act naturally. That fraction of second when they discover me is the moment when their true nature comes out. Your little smile speaks much more than what comes out of your mouth my friend. Hugging a friend in your arms will warm her much more than sending her a text message.
By the way, don’t get fooled by all the social media frenzy. Stop taking yourself in picture, collecting “likes” to make you selfconfident. Do great things in your life instead because your appearance will change anyway, but what you’ll learn from your projects, the skills you’ll get from them will never disappear. Now, go out and hug a friend instead of sharing a stupid thing on her facebook wall.
