Paris fashion week, on the way to … I forgot!. Sorry. Anyway. Lots of photographers, lots of construction works, a narrow street : The worst conditions for me to take series of pictures ! Grrrr . I hate that. Half of me wants to quit, the other half wants me to give a try. The huge problem is that if I stay close to the photographers, they will immediately screw my shooting by rushing into my model and surrounding me, preventing me to create a personal connection and therefore a story. I see the gorgeous and stylish Ece Sukan coming. She walks on the sidewalk. As you can see it, a construction work makes it impossible to take great pictures from the sidewalk. I must act quickly because a group of 20 photographers stands 50m away. I know what to do. I ask Ece to leave the sidewalk and walk on the street. That way, there is nobody between her and my lens and behind her. If you check again my pictures, I am very careful about background.
While she IS walking, I walk backward. In the meantime I pray that no car or bus or truck comes and kills me. Ece does what she does best : she remains natural, making her even more beautiful. 10sec later, I’m done. Ece overtakes me and as I say “See you later!”, she turns back and offers me a friendly smile and eye blink.
Thank you very much @ecesukan for staying natural and cool. “See you soon!”
