Smile is the mirror of our soul, our natural generosity.
I'm back! I haven't posted a story and pictures since September. I was simply too busy building my mobile street style application called Stylishly. You can check out the landing page to have a first view and understanding of what it's gonna be here : www.styleandthecityapp.com. I hope you'll be as excited than me. We launch next week. Stay tuned.
That being said, I wanted my first post to honor the very cool and generous stylish people I took in pictures over the last New York and Paris Fashion weeks. Those of you who have been following me for years, know that I can't stand fashion like it's portrayed by brands and media. I can't imagine myself being a fashion photographer: I hate "Fake" and superficiality, I hate when things are too easy. I only use photoshop to crop my photograph and correct the color, never to brush people's faces and body. There's so much to take, to learn, to share from real life, real people, real situations.
I do believe that the true nature of a person is revealed when the person is surprised, unprepared. Because when you don't expect something to come up, your first response is alway instinct-based. Look at all these encounters, these faces and what you'll feel from their owners it's coolness, kindness, generosity. And what is the secret of photogenic but generosity. So thank you to all of them and all of you if I met you for your collusion. I hope we randomly cross path again or eventually!
Click, slide, enjoy the ride, leave comments to these cool people, I'm sure they'll appreciate it. And so do it.
And by the way: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
